Travelled with my family, spent 3 nights here and had a brilliant stay. Very professional and competent people were working here. The rooms were a nice size, with coffee and a kettle.

Just had a lovely stay at Lingwood Lodge! Julie and Mark are hilarious and super helpful with local tips. Breakfast choices were great, and the room felt like a cozy retreat, though finding parking was a bit tricky.

Lingwood lodge is in a lovely spot, 2 minutes walk from the Lake and not much further to the town. The house is spotless( and i am very fussy). The man from Romania who met us on our arrival is a real sweetie, and the lady of the house, who we met at breakfast, is also charming.Would definitley recommend.

High quality guesthouse with attention to the details. Bright modern decor and good sized rooms. Breakfasts maintain the high quality. Easy walk to Windermere shops and eateries. We were very glad we choose Lingwood for 2 nights and felt comfortable and pampered here.

We enjoyed exploring the Windermere Ferry, exciting for our small children. The family room offered plenty of space and comfort for all of us.
My wife says that more seating in the family room would enhance the experience.

This is one of the best places I stayed. Everything is amazing from the wonderfully friendly proprietors to the excellent and spacious room. The breakfast is nice too!! Definitely recommended!

The breakfast each morning was excellent, especially the bowl of fresh fruit salad. Our room had a really comfortable bed and a nice view over towards Lake Windermere.
A little tight parking for six cars.

Excellent location, lovely views from the room, short walk to town centre. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail in terms of available facilities and generosity of hospitality trays, toiletries and breakfasts. Excellent packed lunches, drying and ironing facilities etc. Rooms spacious and comfortable, very friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. Penty of advice on places to visit. Would suit every sort of guest, walkers/business/families. Can't praise it highly enough!
